The nearest airport is Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh (210 km from Kargil). It is well-connected to Delhi, Srinagar, and Mumbai. From Leh, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Kargil.

By Train:
Jammu Tawi Railway Station (540 km away) is the nearest railhead, offering connections to major cities. From Jammu, travel to Kargil via Srinagar by taxi or bus.

By Road:

  • From Srinagar (202 km | 5-6 hours): Travel via the scenic NH1 through Sonamarg and Drass. Regular buses and taxis are available.
  • From Leh (210 km | 5-6 hours): Drive through the Leh-Kargil road, passing Magnetic Hill and Fotu La Pass.
  • From Manali (480 km): Take the adventurous route through Zanskar Valley and Shinkula Pass, perfect for road trip enthusiasts.

Self-Drive:
For adventure lovers, self-driving from Srinagar, Leh, or Manali offers spectacular Himalayan views

  4. To ensure smooth services, Company can also make alternations in the tour. The reasons for such changes can be acts of god, technical problems, sudden service issues, government policies or any other similar situation.
  5. Package will not be considered booked until advance amount have not been received by us.
  6. Travel dates of DND (Date not decided) packages should be affirmed within 3 Months of invoice issuance date.
  7. Delays may lead to certain inconveniences.

  9. Hotels, Room Category, and Vehicle Type. No additional cost will be levied for such upgrades and this exciting news will be shared with you either before or during the trip.
  1. All the cancellations must be communicated in written.
  2. Token amount is non refundable in any cases.
  3. Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.
  4. Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % – 50% of the total tour package cost.
  5. 100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or
  6. No show scenarios.
  7. No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other Greenland Himalayas services.
  8. Greenland Himalayas have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.
  9. In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Greenland Himalayas will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
