Day 1: Delhi to Shimla (Overnight Journey)
Begin your adventure with an overnight Volvo journey from Delhi to Shimla. Depart in the evening from Kashmiri Gate, RK Ashram, or Majnu Ka Tila, and enjoy a comfortable 9-10 hour ride through scenic landscapes. Travel tip: Keep essentials like a toothbrush, face wash, and medications handy for a quick refresh upon arrival. Arrive in Shimla the next morning, ready to explore!
Day 2: Shimla to Sarahan via Narkanda (162 KM)
Start your day with a scenic drive from Shimla to Sarahan, passing through Narkanda, known for its stunning Himalayan views. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at a roadside dhaba and stop at Rampur Bushar to visit the revered Bhimakali Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. How to Reach
By Air:
- Nearest Airport: Bhuntar Airport (Kullu) – Approximately 245 km from Spiti.
- From Bhuntar, you can hire a taxi to reach Spiti Valley. Alternatively, you can fly to Chandigarh or Delhi and then proceed by road to Spiti.
By Train:
- Nearest Railway Station: The closest major railway station is in Shimla or Kalka (about 300 km away).
- From Kalka, you can take the Kalka-Shimla toy train to reach Shimla, and then take a bus or taxi to Spiti.
By Road:
- From Shimla: The most popular route is to drive from Shimla, passing through Narkanda, Rampur, and Sarahan, heading to Spiti. The road journey is quite scenic, offering mesmerizing views of the Himalayas.
- From Manali: Another route is from Manali to Spiti via Rohtang Pass, Kunzum Pass, and Kaza. The road is open mostly in summer months (May–October) but is closed in winter due to heavy snowfall.
- From Delhi/Chandigarh: You can also take a bus or hire a taxi from Delhi or Chandigarh to reach Spiti. Regular buses run from Delhi to Shimla, and from there, you can continue the journey to Spiti by road.
Terms & Policy
Cancellation Policy
- All the cancellations must be communicated in written.
- Token amount is non refundable in any cases.
- Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.
- Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % – 50% of the total tour package cost.
- 100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of travel date or
- No show scenarios.
- No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other Greenland Himalayas services.
- Greenland Himalayas have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.
- In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Greenland Himalayas will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
